Please join us for a special evening at Mio Restaurant as Dr. John Forrest of New Zealand's Forrest Wines leads us through a five-course dinner matching his wines with the modern Puerto Rican cuisine of Executive Chef Giovanna Huyke (the "Julia Child of Puerto Rico!"). Founded in 1988, Forrest is a small, very much hands-on producer of premium quality white wine from their home vineyards in Marlborough, and premium Pinot Noir from their vineyards in Otago. Their vibrant, meticulously crafted wines have continued to earn national and international accolades ever since the very first vintage brought home a Best-of-Class Directors Trophy from the Air New Zealand Wine Awards in 1990.
