Rosé Sampler:
"Tour de France" № 2
featuring 6 great new arrivals!

We're ecstatic that our 2016 rose direct imports have arrived. As you may recall Joe and Phil tasted well over 120 roses to find the best of the best.

Our 2015 collection was well received and the 2016's are even better. We can't decide which is our favorite so far so we decided to put six different ones (one of each) in a sampler bag to let you decide - 20% off as well.

This is our second bag of the season and we've branched out from Provence to include offerings from the Rhone Valley and Bordeaux!

Sale $80.00   |   SKU 72221

2016 Domaine Saint Andrieu Cotes Provence Rose

From the same owners as the famed Ch Talbot in Bordeaux. Typical Provencal varieties (Grenache, Cinsault, Syrah) give it a nice rosy pink color and a delicate citrus blended with spicy notes. Round and fresh mouth is marked by a very fine balance and subtle notes of white fruits.

2016 Chateau La Mascaronne Cotes Provence Rose Quat'saisons

After reviving the Miraval estate and selling it to Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, owner Tom Bove purchased the historically important terroir of La Mascaronne. In short order he was producing award winning wines by stressing low yields, hand harvesting and sustainability in all aspects of vineyard management and winemaking. Quat'saisons is cinsault, grenache, syrah and mouvedre.

2016 Chateau Vignelaure Coteaux d'Aix en Provence Rose La Source

The Chateau and its' surrounding vineyards are located in the wild countryside just north of the town of Aix-en-Provence. The vines have been cultivated here for more than 2000 years. Robert M. Parker, Jr has described Vignelaure as "one of the showpiece properties not only of Provence, but of France." The roses are a blend of Grenache, Syrah, cabernet sauvignon and cinsault.

Chateau de Saint Martin

Château de Saint Martin was established in the 18th century and has been supplying wine to fine restaurants and cellars all over the world for decades. The château nearly always has been managed by women; today it is run by Ms. de Barry.  It is one of only 23 cru classe properties in the Cotes de Provence AOC.  Phil was lucky enough to visit the property a few years ago and diner with the Countess herself!

2016 Chateau de Saint Martin Cotes Provence Rose Eternelle Favorite

With a special shaped bottle designed by the countess, this unique cuvee is designed to compete with arguably the most famous wine in Provence-Domaine Ott.  We think this one is better (and half the price too!)

Domaine de Mourchon

This marks our 11th vintage working with Walter McKinlay and his team. Located in the beautiful hamlet of Seguret, Mourchon is by far the best producer in the Village. Their Rose is one of our most requested and with the early reports on just how good the 2016 harvest was, we expect this to be among the best ones ever (and after tasting we think it is!)

2016 Domaine de Mourchon Cotes du Rhone Seguret Loubie Rose

2016 Chateau Clarendelle Rose Bordeaux

The first premium Rosé wine in the history of Domaine Clarence Dillon (of Ch Haut Brion fame!)

Clarendelle Rosé is inspired by the "clairet" of times past. This top-end, subtle, and delicate wine is a well-balanced and elegant blend of Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Cabernet Franc.
