Some of the best finds come from wandering the vineyards ourselves, and Phil discovered Cave de l’Ormarine on one of those trips. This small cooperative consistently produces Picpoul de Pinet that’s fresh, zesty, and full of life — wines that perfectly express the limestone-rich soils of the Languedoc’s Étang de Thau region.

The “Préambule” is exactly what we love about Picpoul: bright citrus and green apple aromas, a clean mineral backbone, and a crisp, refreshing finish that makes it irresistible on its own or alongside oysters, shellfish, and Mediterranean seafood.
