The fruit had a wild ferment in 600-liter Austrian oak barrels and aged on the lees for 20 months, prior to being bottled unfiltered. On the nose, this is opulent and densely aromatic, with quince and persimmon, white peach, crushed nuts and even a hint of tapenade. Cassis and bramble lead through the finish, showing a wine of concentration, impact and width. The acidity on the palate is shale-like and mineral, and it is woven through the fruit, dragging it out, in concert with the phenolics and long over the finish. No malolactic fermentation occurred here. The fruit is from the Otira block in the front. 14% alcohol, sealed under Diam and wax.","Blurb3":null,"ItemNumber":97855,"LimitedToStores":false,"Score1":"96","Score2":"95","Score3":null,"SourceId1":6,"SourceId2":1,"SourceId3":0,"Id":35751},"BlurbSource":{"Name":"Wine Enthusiast","Abbreviation":"WE","Id":6},"CategoryId":1,"Producer":"Clos Henri","Id":193678,"CustomProperties":{}},{"Name":"2023 Cloudy Bay - Pinot Noir Marlborough (750ml)","ShortDescription":null,"FullDescription":null,"SeName":"2023-cloudy-bay-pinot-noir-marlborough-750ml","StockQuantity":24,"Sku":"102320","BottleSize":"750ml","ProductType":"SimpleProduct","MarkAsNew":false,"ProductPrice":{"OldPrice":null,"OldPriceValue":null,"Price":"$42.99","PriceValue":42.9900,"BasePricePAngV":null,"BasePricePAngVValue":null,"DisableBuyButton":false,"DisableWishlistButton":false,"DisableAddToCompareListButton":true,"AvailableForPreOrder":false,"PreOrderAvailabilityStartDateTimeUtc":null,"IsRental":false,"ForceRedirectionAfterAddingToCart":false,"DisplayTaxShippingInfo":false,"CustomProperties":{}},"DefaultPictureModel":{"ImageUrl":"https://www.bassins.com/images/thumbs/009/0099221_2023-cloudy-bay-pinot-noir-marlborough-750ml_360.jpeg","ThumbImageUrl":null,"FullSizeImageUrl":"https://www.bassins.com/images/thumbs/009/0099221_2023-cloudy-bay-pinot-noir-marlborough-750ml.jpeg","Title":"Show details for 2023 Cloudy Bay - Pinot Noir Marlborough (750ml)","AlternateText":"Picture of 2023 Cloudy Bay - Pinot Noir Marlborough (750ml)","CustomProperties":{}},"ProductSpecificationModel":{"Groups":[],"CustomProperties":{}},"ReviewOverviewModel":{"ProductId":198402,"RatingSum":0,"TotalReviews":0,"AllowCustomerReviews":false,"CanAddNewReview":true,"CustomProperties":{}},"Blurb":{"Author1":"James Suckling","Author2":null,"Author3":null,"Blurb1":"A savory and succulent red with strawberry and slate character.
