Bright deep red. The perfumed floral nose is highly typical of the Frappato variety. Then offers insidious sweetness along with smooth tannins nicely framing hints of cracked black pepper, ripe red cherry and berries. A complex, multifaceted wine that is drinking beautifully now, but that will likely age reasonably well. Finishes long and clean; the name Pruvenza refers to a local wind that blows in from the northwest.
