Extraordinary is the best way to describe this wine. It has all of the delicious melon and tropical fruit background that this wonderful grape can produce in its finest expression, and 10 months of aging on the lees in stainless steel tanks adds a perfect touch of subtlety and grace. AND that's in a normal year! Bierzo is not the D.O. one normally looks at for this grape but it should be. 2019 was a great year for Casar d Burbia's white wines. Perfectly matched with Chesapeake Bay seafood and judiciously prepared fowl.
