A tank-aged blend of 60% Grenache with 10% each of Carignan, Cinsault, Mourvedre and Syrah, the 2017 Rasteau M B is much cleaner than the flawed 2016, boasting ample weight, a rich, creamy mouthfeel and attractive notes of salted licorice, cracked pepper and red raspberries. It finishes long and slightly drying but with balancing, mouthwatering acids.
