A single vintage 1986 Bas-Armagnac bottled by Darroze. Distilled using grapes grown at Domaine de Lamarquette, this was bottled in August 2017. Distilled using exclusively baco grapes, the vintage shows classic spices associated with the grape. According to Darroze: Classic aromas for an Armagnac made with the baco grape of that age (cinnamon, licorice, candied fruit, tobacco) give a great character to the spirit. On the palate, the tannins are present, silky and fat. Flavours of toast, dried fig, licorice bring complexity and length.
