Yields at this property this year were a minuscule ten hectoliters per hectare. A blend of 63% Merlot, 32% Cabernet Franc and 5% Cabernet Sauvignon, the medium to deep garnet-purple colored 2018 Daugay rolls out of the glass with vibrant black and red cherries, warm red plums and mulberries scents plus hints of baking spices, underbrush and tree bark. Medium to full-bodied, the palate has a firm, chunky frame and plenty of vibrant fruit, finishing a little chewy.
