This wine now carries an IGT designation, although I think it was previously part of the Fiano di Avellino appellation. The Pietracupa 2018 Fiano shows a bright golden color with aromas of peach, citrus, ripe pear and a hint of wild sage. To the palate, this is a mid-weight white with the creamy intensity and textural richness to pair with scallops on the half shell with garlic and butter. Some 25,000 bottles were made.
