The 2019 Pallagrello Bianco is a deep yellow golden color. It lifts up from the glass with a rich bouquet of raw almond, honeyed florals, candied ginger and a hint of iodine. This is deeply textural and pleasantly sweet, with ripe apples and pears, yet I find myself craving more lift. Hints of custard, green botanicals and a subtle twang of minerality punctuate the finale.
