The 2019 Zeltinger Sonnenuhr Riesling Spatlese is pure, intense and flinty on the perfectly ripe nose that reveals raisins and crunchy slate aromas and, again, represents the great terroir of the ZSU. The finish is very dense, long and intense but by no means fat or clumsy. This has piquancy, salinity and enormous grip. Tasted at the domain in September 2020
