Rich aroma, deep in ripe green fruits, pear, and an impression of creamy lees without any sweetness. Gently floral too but not too much. On the palate, pure and moderately intense, with a hint of pear on the finish. Fresh, mouth-filling fruit. Benchmark Malagousia with its layered fragrance and full body, but it avoids flabbiness. A careful and successful mid point between the extreme possible styles of this distinctive variety. The firm texture is also a good foil to the scent.
