A release of about 6,600 bottles, the Les Crêtes 2018 Valle d'Aosta Petite Arvine Vigna Devin Ros Fleur nicely showcases the grape. This Petite Arvine is light and crisp, but it also delivers a glossy or viscous side with some of the thickness and flavors of well-ripened grape skins. The bouquet opens to orchard fruit and nectarine, and there is a musky quality that adds an extra layer of shading or depth. This white would do well with lobster or shellfish.
