The 2020 Chambolle-Musigny Les Bussières comes from 60-year-old vines and sees around 30% new oak. It has a lovely nose, very intense with plush red fruit that blossoms from the glass. The palate is powerful yet precise, delineated and focused with layers of red cherry and wild strawberry, hints of clove and undergrowth. Very cohesive on the finish, this is an absolutely divine Chambolle, especially considering that this is not the appellation's strongest climat.
