The 2020 Puligny-Montrachet Les Folatières 1er Cru possesses a little more complexity than the Les Champs Gain, taut and fresh, nicely focused with impressive mineralité. The palate is well balanced with a vibrant entry. There is just a touch of reduction here because it had only just been bottled, but there is clearly a fine Puligny here.
