The 2020 Chassagne-Montrachet Les Chaumées Clos de la Truffière 1er Cru is the one cuvée from Jouard that needs coaxing from the glass. But it eventually offers lovely honeysuckle, jasmine, wax resin and light lemongrass scents. The palate is well balanced with very good weight.
