The 2012 Recioto della Valpolicella is rich and decadent, showing crushed cherry cordials, cinnamon, clove, mint and vanilla bean. It’s silky and sweet yet energized by bright acidity, with ripe red fruits and confectionary spices that drench the palate and resonate throughout the finish. This is certainly a dessert in a glass, yet it does an excellent job of leaving you completely refreshed.
