The 2021 Kastanienbusch Riesling GG shows pure, fresh and elegant, juicy, ripe and concentrated fruit with herbaceous spicy aromas. Dense, lush and savory on the palate, with fine mineral acidity and highly elegant, juicy-savory fruit, this is a very long, mineral and tensioned Kastanienbusch with great purity, salinity and highly finessed texture. The finish is fresh and lemony, pure and salty, stimulating and vital, demanding and powerful. It's a very expressive Kastanienbusch. 12.5% stated alcohol. Tasted in Wiesbaden in August and again at the domaine in November 2022.
