...the 2010 La Providence is made in a distinctive style with meaty charcuterie notes intermixed with spicy pepper, black currants, mocha, espresso roast and forest floor. This full-bodied, dense, rich wine was difficult to penetrate, but nevertheless, it has impressive richness, texture and length. The relatively high tannins suggest forgetting it for 5-6 years of cellaring, but it should last for 25-30 years.
