Bright medium red, a bit less saturated than the Albarella. Fine, perfumed nose combines raspberry, minerals, flowers, clove, nutmeg and a note of leather. Juicy and supple but higher-pitched and less broad than the Albarella in its youth. The wine's flesh seems suppressed today but this wine is ultimately more perfumed and ethereal, and beautifully balanced. Finishes with suave tannins and lovely subtle length
