Leo Erazo, winemaker for Altos las Hormigas fashions tiny amounts of this cuvee (only 3600 bottles) as a side project. From the exceptional terroir of Gualtallary. Limestone soil, made in Concrete egg with natural yeast ferment. This wine has notes that remind me of both Chablis and Jura. Good amount of Mace, Nutmeg, and crisp apple acid. It is mineral driven but with a touch of new world weight on the finish.
