An innovative Castillon, partly made in amphorae. Complex nose of fresh herbs and violets, the blue fruit slowly growing as the wine aerates, until it pours from the wine. Serious tannin structure, but without feeling at all massive. In fact, it has striking lightness and vitality on the palate and a really minerally finish. Drink or hold
