Bright golden-tinged yellow. Lemony botrytis complicates ripe pear, apricot and baked apple on the nose. Rich, dense and long, delivering marvelous sugar-acid balance and extremely pure apple, pear and orange marmalade flavors. Finishes very long, rich and racy. More off-dry than dry, this is an absolutely beautiful wine in a year when the Pinot varieties didn't excel.
