A step up in density, breadth and sweetness from this producer's other 2005 Barolos; in fact, this is quite suave and full. Best today on the horizontal, ripely tannic finish, which offers intriguing balsamic and mineral traces. Like his other crus, this is aged in about 40% new barriques.
