The 2017 Marsannay Fleur de Pinot Ros? had been partially racked just before my tasting and had been in tank since September except for the 600-liter barrels. Lucid salmon pink in color, it has a delicate strawberry and cherry bouquet that opens beautifully with time. The palate is well balanced with a fine bead of acidity, touches of strawberry and morello cherry and a tang of sea salt. Hints of nougat add sweetness on the aftertaste. Very fine.
