The secret to the quality here is the vineyards: sites around Chassagne-Montrachet and Meursault. The fruit is all hand harvested, meticulously sorted, and gently fermented and aged in 500 liter barrels with no new oak. It's wonderfully aromatic, with bold and complex aromas of ripe stone fruit, light citrus, toasted hazelnuts, fresh butter and a hint of refreshing mint. On the palate it's fleshy, creamy, and generous, too, with nicely mouthcoating richness and a bright buttered nut and citrus finish. A delicious Bourgogne value.
