From the ancient grape variety widely planted in the Jura on both sides of the border, the 2017 Auvernier Savagnin Blanc is an intense, lush and creamy-textured white with remarkable elegance, persistent salinity and delicate raciness. It's a full-bodied and intense Savagnin with some dry phenolics. It needs lots of aeration or bottle aging.
