Silky on entry, then bracing, penetrating and complex in the mid-palate, with outstanding laser-like focus and energy to the red berry, mint, licorice, mineral, and candied violet flavors. Superb tension coupled with outstanding clarity and cut make this one of the better Brunellos released this year. Finishes long and fine-grained.
