Barthod's beautiful 2017 Chambolle-Musigny Village reveals an inviting bouquet of raspberries, red cherries, blood orange and espresso roast, subtly framed by classy new wood. On the palate, the wine is medium to full-bodied, layered and succulent, with a fleshy core of fruit, tangy acids and fine but chalky structuring tannins.
