While there's nothing outside the box about this wine, it is classic Marlborough in all the best ways, finding balance and texture amid all the fruit and freshness. It opens with a pretty, perfumed nose of bright lime leaf, jalapeño and tomato leaf. The acidity is crisp and lifted but neatly harmonized by a chalky texture and juicy, citrusy fruit.
