Bright straw. Yeast, orchard fruit, vanilla and herbs on the nose. Very fresh and juicy on entry, then a hint of caramel adds body to the apple and pear flavors. Finishes remarkably saline and floral, with a real mineral edge that lingers nicely. A blend of roughly 78% Chardonnay, 18% Pinot Nero and 4% Pinot Bianco that spent about 24 months on the lees.
