The 2019 Chambertin-Clos de Beze Grand Cru is the most muscular, youthfully reserved wine in the range, unwinding in the glass with notions of sweet berries and plums complemented by hints of raw cocoa, exotic spices, grilled meats and burning embers. Full-bodied, layered and multidimensional, it's rich and textural, with broad shoulders and considerable concentration. It's a brilliant Clos de Beze in the making.
