The 2020 Pouilly-Fuissé 1er Cru has a taut and fresh bouquet, well-defined with crushed rock infused yellow fruit. The palate is well-defined with a lovely peachy entry, though the terroir flood through on the mid-palate and it maintains fine delineation towards the finish. Maybe there is just a bit of wood to be subsumed so afford it 8-12 months in bottle. Tasted blind at the BIVB Mâconnais tasting.
