The 2020 Rosso di Montalcino is at first moody in the glass, slowly opening with dark florals and crushed stone that give way to sugar-dusted strawberry and wild herbs. It's soft-textured with mineral-tinged red berries and nuances of sour citrus. This finishes fresh and zesty with medium length and a gentle tug of tannin, as inner violet tones slowly taper off. This is a very pretty 2020 Rosso from Donatella Cinelli Colombini.
