The 2020 Barbera d’Asti Montebruna is dark and sumptuous right out of the gate. Spice, leather, tobacco, menthol, dried owers and mocha all come together as this intense, voluptuous Asti Barbera shows o its considerable charm. In 2021 the Montebruna is quite dense and brooding in character, but all the elements are impeccably balanced.
