Harvested on October 2, the 2023 Chardonnay Van der Kamp Vineyard was matured for 18 months in 20% new French oak. It has pure aromas of apricot, quince and Meyer lemon plus nuances of roasted almonds and beeswax. The palate features powerful, concentrated flavors despite its modest 12.5% alcohol. Flinty tones and vibrant acidity give it a shimmery feel, and it has a long, layered finish. 147 cases were made.
