The 2023 Pinot Noir Van der Kamp Vineyard was matured for 18 months in 20% new French oak. It has dynamic aromas, with raspberry and pomegranate giving way to wafts of juniper, tea leaves, hibiscus and woodsy undertones, and it continues to offer additional nuances with each return to the glass. The medium-bodied palate is bursting with perfumed fruit and earthy tones. It has a muscular frame of grainy tannins, bright acidity and a very long, layered finish. It should be long lived in the cellar. Only 74 cases were made.
