he 2022 Riesling Brand Grand Cru is from the eastern part of the Brand that was planted in 1947. Gentle smoke surrounds the Mirabelle and citrus fruit on the nose. The palate is exquisitely clear-cut, soaring like a soprano voice, unimpeded and clear. The gorgeous zestiness of pale lemon coats the mouth, texture and even more of that mouthwatering quality. This is hair-raising, from an east-facing position with deeper subsoil. There is no water stress. In the past, this parcel was challenging to ripen; today, it shows luminous purity. (Bone-Dry)
