This shows notes of plums, dark chocolate, tea leaves and spices, following through to a medium to full body with racy acidity and tight-grained tannins. Firm and grainy on the palate with a mineral aftertaste. It needs a little more fruit concentration, yet it’s quite solid and structured, somewhat of an old-school Barolo.
