The Venica 2023 Collio Friulano Ronco delle Cime is a pretty white wine with a more neutral bouquet, certainly compared to the Sauvignon Blanc. Aromas of fleshy white fruits such as pear and quince cede to a mid-weight texture that supports fresh acidity and a faint hint of spicy saffron that makes for an interesting closing note. The wine goes through stainless steel and large oak casks. This is a clean and forthcoming release of 25,000 bottles.
