I was able to taste the 2023 Châteauneuf Du Pape Cuvee Reservée from multiple foudres, and it's going to be a solid, classic Pegau from this reference point estate. Its ripe red, blue, and black fruits, peppery herbs, leather, and spicy, Provençal notes all shine, and it plays in a more medium-bodied, supple, elegant style not too far off the style of the château’s 2020.
