Deep Eddy Vodka takes its name from Deep Eddy Pool, the oldest spring-fed swimming pool in Texas, evoking the laid-back Austin identity the brand has built itself around since launching in 2010. Ruby Red starts with Deep Eddy's award-winning Original Vodka, a corn-based spirit distilled ten times through a column still and filtered over charcoal for a clean, smooth foundation. Real ruby red grapefruit juice is infused into that base, with pure cane sugar added to lightly sweeten the finished product and balance its natural tartness. As with the rest of the Deep Eddy range, the spirit remains gluten free and avoids artificial flavors or high-fructose corn syrup.

The nose delivers bright, bittersweet grapefruit, with a distinctive hint of habanero honey adding an unexpected layer of warmth. On the palate, tangy citrus dances alongside a gentle sweetness from the cane sugar, keeping the tartness from turning sharp.
