Mozart Dark Chocolate Cream is built around a cold maceration process using a specific blend of West African cocoa alongside Bourbon vanilla sourced from Madagascar. Fresh cream and granulated sugar are worked in using carefully controlled processing temperatures, a step the distillery credits with shaping the liqueur's distinct flavor. The finished liqueur relies on real cream and conched Belgian dark chocolate rather than artificial flavoring, and it is bottled at 17% alcohol by volume, a lower strength typical of the cream liqueur category.

The liqueur pours a deep chocolate brown with an opaque, velvety consistency. The nose combines bitter dark chocolate, vanilla, and caramel with smoky, herbal notes from the cocoa beans, while the palate is rich, smooth, and mouth-coating, with a lingering bittersweet chocolate finish.
