2022 Greco di Tufo DOCG Claudio Quarta
Brilliant straw yellow in color with golden flashes, this wine is bright and inviting. The nose opens generously with notes of ripe peach, citrus, cedar, and a touch of ginger. These aromas evolve into a long, elegant finish layered with complex nuances of hazelnut, mint, sage, white pepper, vanilla, chalk, and fresh herbal undertones. On the palate, it is structured and vibrant, with a pronounced, lively acidity. The flavor is captivating: savory, balanced, and persistent, leaving a refined and lasting impression. A versatile companion to vegetable dishes, delicate first courses, seafood, white meats, and lightly aged cheeses. An especially inspired pairing: carbonara with artichokes.

2018 Barolo LaFoia DOCG Marco Curto
Nadia Curto is at the forefront of a new generation of women winemakers in Piedmont. Niece of the legendary Barolo producer Elio Altare, she honors her family's legacy while forging her own path. Despite her modern influences, Nadia remains deeply committed to the organic viticultural practices pioneered by her father, Marco Curto.
For over 60 years, the Curto family has tended their 4 hectares of vineyards with a philosophy rooted in respect for the land. They rely on natural manure, manual tools for cutting grass, and pheromone traps in place of insecticides. To treat vineyard ailments, they use only sulfur and copper: traditional, minimal-intervention methods that reflect a sustainable ethos.
Marco Curto himself worked alongside Elio Altare, and later Nadia would do the same, drawing on that experience while developing her own thoughtful, expressive approach to winemaking.
"This wine is stunning, displaying remarkable intensity and freshness, yet tightly wound, promising graceful and alluring evolution with time. From the first sip, the exceptional quality of the grapes and the skilled craftsmanship behind the winemaking were immediately apparent.
Upon learning that some of the fruit comes from the renowned Arborina vineyard in La Morra, everything made perfect sense.
On the palate, there's an explosive burst of floral complexity, violet and rose petals, followed by vibrant red cherry and a nostalgic hint of cherry Kool-Aid. This leads into a juicy, peppery core supported by fine, structured tannins. The finish lingers beautifully, with persistent floral notes and subtle spices that complement the fading, tart red fruit.
Wow.
This is a very limited-production wine, and unfortunately, we don't have much to offer. But we sincerely hope you'll stop by the store for a chance to treat yourself to a taste of this exceptional bottle."
