A vibrant red blend from star winemaker Helen Keplinger (Vinous Media's Winemaker of the Year for 2023), the 2021 Vermillion is 40% Grenache, 36% Syrah, 14% Petite Sirah, 7% Cabernet Sauvignon, and 3% Mourvedre from regions throughout Northern and Central CA. Lush and indulgent, offering pure blackberry, raspberry, and huckleberry flavors and a finish laced with dried savory herbs, oolong tea, and rosemary. Incredibly generous on the palate, the wine has staying power without being overdone whatsoever. Bottled unfined and unfiltered.
