Whether you are making an Aperol Spritz or a classic Negroni (or Quarantinis) we’ve got the perfect pairing for your Cocktail.
Summer cocktails range from simple to intensive and are ideal for hot weather drinking. Here are a few to bolster your repertoire:
Instructions: In a cocktail shaker without ice, combine 2 ounces Cynar, 1 ounce of fresh lemon juice, 1/2 an ounce of simple syrup (that’s equal parts sugar and hot water, dissolved), and 1 egg white. Shake all that up without ice (the “dry shake”), then add ice and shake again (“wet shake”). Strain into a chilled cocktail glass and garnish with a very thin lemon wheel.
2 dashes Fernet Branca
1½ oz Italian Vermouth
1½ oz Dry Gin
Shake well and strain into cocktail glass. Squeeze orange peel on top.
1½ ounces amaro (preferably Nonino)
1½ ounces Aperol
1½ ounces bourbon
1½ ounces fresh lemon juice, strained
Combine amaro, Aperol, bourbon, and lemon juice in a cocktail shaker. Fill with ice and shake vigorously until outside of shaker is frosty, about 20 seconds. Strain into 2 coupe glasses
