It's not often that the prestigious Penin Guide, Spain's most highly regarded wine review compendium, gives 88 points to such an inexpensive wine, but Chaval is an extraordinary Bobal, Valencia's perfect summer red. Initial fermentation is long and slow ...
Bright red. Red cherry and flowers on the perfumed nose; much more fragrant than the 2017 Montepulciano d'Abruzzo. Then fresh and juicy, with bright red fruit repeating in the mouth. Finishes long and savory, showcasing notable purity. Outstanding cool-cl...
Coppo has managed Tenuta La Rocca in Monterotondo (Gavi) since the mid-1980s. Gavi is a classic white Piedmontese wine, made entirely from Cortese grape. It is one of the region's oldest native varieties. Its name derives from the wine's original consumer...
DESCRIPTION: Claré JC is a unique wine, our take on the forgotten days ofNebbiolo, when it was enjoyed in its lighter and fresher garment. The winemakingprotocol follows the 1606 writings of G.B. Croce, jeweler of the House of Savoia:the wine is bottled soon after the fermentation so as to retain a gentle off-dryfinish and a lovely energy.
VARIETY: 100% Nebbiolo.
VINEYARD AND TERROIR: Fruit from our young Nebbiolo vineyards.
