Phil joined MacArthur Beverages in 2006. In 2018 he took over the role of General Manager. Phil handles the buying for Bordeaux, Rhone, Loire, Spain and Germany/Austria. When he’s not running MacBev Phil enjoys golf, fishing and being an amateur pitmaster. John Fitter Wine Consultant
After a 17-year career growing grapes and making wine, John moved to the retail side of the business in 2008, managing a pair of wine shops in northern VA. He joined Addy Bassin's in 2010 as the buyer for our Australia/New Zealand, Alsace, and Greece departments, and has a particular affinity for what Hugh Johnson once termed the "oddball backwaters" of the wine world.
