A rare release drawn from the Paradis cellars at the Château de Montifaud, this Cognac was the first to personally be distilled Louis Vallet (4th generation) which today stands a proud family treasure and trophy of the longstanding legacy each of the family's generations behold. After aging in a combination of red oak and particularly old Cognac barrels, Château de Montifaud Héritage Louis Vallet L50 Cognac the percentage of alcohol naturally reduced to 50%, it was then diluted over a period of 2 years down to 40%. This Grand Cru blend has been crafted exclusively from Petite Champagne eaux-de-vie laid down between 1935 and 1982, making it an exceptionally rare Cognac.

This cognac is fruit centered, with subtle hints of pears, apricots, and floral notes. For its age this is truly a sophisticated cognac and quite a delicacy on the palate.
